Brookfield Residential has earned a reputation of excellence in the Triangle area, named Developer of the Year multiple times by the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County for our Briar Chapel and Wendell Falls projects. Ponder will be the third master-planned community in the Triangle created by Brookfield, and one thing is for sure: it’s exactly like no place else.

Briar Chapel | Chapel Hill, NC

Brookfield developed a community that aligned perfectly with local needs while preserving valuable natural resources for future generations. This 1,800-acre project features 20+ miles of trails, dozens of pocket parks, saltwater pools, and was the first community in the area that required rigorous green building standards on every home built. Through this process, a new blueprint was created for sustainable communities.

Wendell Falls | Wendell, NC

Just seven miles from Ponder, this sustainably-focused, 1,100-acre community includes nearly 273 acres of preserved open space, 10+ miles of trails, dozens of interconnected parks and playgrounds and features a commercial town center, Treelight Square, which introduced the first Publix® to Eastern Wake County.
