1. Take a stroll:

Nature is one of the primary focuses at Ponder. With access to miles of walking trails and scenic views at Ponder Lake, there are nearly 120 acres of natural open space for you to enjoy at Ponder. Not only is taking a walk in nature the perfect place to meet your neighbor, there are also a surprising amount of physical and mental benefits to spending time in nature as well!

2. Play an extra game:

Growing up, the rule on the street was always ‘be home by the time the sun sets. Every kid knew that as the light faded, our fun had to stop. So, as the light fades a little later, spend another hour outside playing an extra round or two of pickleball with your friends. Ponder will have four pickleball courts for you and your neighbors to enjoy. If the games keep going and you get home a little late, that’s ok, we won’t tell.

3. Grab an extra round:

Situated perfectly between Wendell and Zebulon, there is always something to do. Head to downtown Zebulon to try out the award winning Southland Steakhouse. Or take a trip to Wendell’s picturesque main street and grab a round of drinks at Bearded Bee and see what food truck they have waiting for you!

4. Set up camp:

Grab your family. Grab your tents. And be sure to remember the snacks! One of the amazing amenities at Ponder is the campsites. Perfectly arranged for you and your family to enjoy the thrills of camping and the luxuries of being able to run home and grab supplies for a couple extra smores. Use that extra hour of sunlight to assemble your tent, roll out the sleeping bags and tell a camp story or two.

5. Spend a quiet evening at home:
