A new elementary school is planned for Zebulon, just 2 miles from Ponder. Construction is already underway, and is expected to open for the 2029–2030 school year. Check the WCPSS website for updates.
Located less than 10 miles from Ponder, Cardinal Charter Academy provides a school that can take students from Kindergarten all the way through middle school (and soon, beyond). Curriculum is personalized based on the student’s passions, interests and strengths.
Just 4 miles from Ponder, Zebulon Gifted and Talented Magnet Middle School is known for its emphasis on Advanced Studies and STEM. Their goal is to foster a community of forward thinkers and future leaders who will shape the world of tomorrow.
